PREPARATORY DEPARTMENTS FOR MUSIC SCHOOLS AND MUSIC UNIVERSITIES IN GREECE AND ABROAD The Municipal Conservatory offers all preparatory courses for those looking to prepare for entry into Music Schools, or music universities in Greece and music institutions abroad. Additionally, English-speaking theoretical departments are available for non-Greek speaking students.
Preparatory departments for music schools are open to children from fifth grade of primary school, while for music universities, high school students can participate. The departments can be group-based or individual, depending on each student's needs.
REPERTOIRE DEPARTMENTS FOR GRADUATES AND DIPLOMATES OF INSTRUMENTS The Municipal Conservatory also offers repertoire departments for all graduates and diplomates who wish to continue expanding their repertoire, prepare for their soloist activities, or prepare for further studies abroad at a music institution.
MUSICAL ENSEMBLES Interested individuals can join musical ensembles upon their registration:
  • Philharmonic Orchestra
  • Adult Choir, Youth Choir, Children’s Choir
  • Junior string orchestra
  • Guitar orchestra "sonoros"
These offerings allow students and professionals various opportunities to enhance their musical education and engage with diverse musical disciplines at the conservatory.
